Beginners Group Lessons

Pete will take you right from learning how to put your skates on through to skating confidently – moving stopping and turning in control. One recent group of beginners enjoyed a 2 mile rollerstroll as part of their last lesson – which just shows the progress people make under Pete’s expert instruction. Skaters under 16 years will require a parent/guardian present through the lesson (or why not just sign up to learn too) – if you’re interested please get in touch. Cost £40 for group lessons. Spaces are limited and need to be booked in advance. Contact us to reserve your space or for more information.

Introduction to streetskating

These rolling sessions are proving popular with beginners and intermediates who want some coaching on how to tackle tarmac outdoors. Skaters learn how to tackle the streets including – stopping (heel stop and grass stop) – different surfaces (smooth/rough tarmac, cobbles, manhole covers, speed humps etc) – on/off pavements – slopes (up & down). These lessons can be organised on demand - just contact Pete. Cost is £5

Private Skate Lessons, where you have the undivided attention of the instructor are a great way to progress and these are tailored to the your particular needs. We will build and develop your skill level and your confidence at a pace that suits you.

Group Lessons are one of the most enjoyable way to learn to skate. Classes normally combine pupils of similar abilities (which helps to overcome the nerves which many experience). Join a scheduled class or a regular weekly timeslot can be arranged if/when there is sufficient interest.

Adult & Childrens Lessons:
Generally we arrange to teach adults in separate lessons from young folk. The exception to this is families who wish to skate together.

Adults only groups: Most new adult skaters feel much more comfortable when learning to skate with just other new adult skaters - this is why we organise classes for these groups in a secret skate location!

Special Events:
We have considerable experience organising special skate events - why not come and see what we can do for you! All equipment can be arranged if sufficient notice is provided.

Location: In the Summertime the sessions are mostly outdoors at our secret skate location in Montrose.

Pricing: (Prices are based on outdoor lessons - costs indoors will vary dependent on hall charges) Private lesson - £20 per hour.
