Knee pads, skate wrist pads, helmets and skates required for all sessions.
High visibility vest and elbow pads are not a bad idea for rolling sessions.

2008 Rollerstrolls - still being planned.

A Rollerstroll is a group of people skating together round a route – and Montrose is an ideal skate-town with so many cyclepaths and smooth flattish streets. We’ve had a fair few Rollerstrolls in Montrose over the past year and they have all been really good fun (checkout the photos page). With the numbers of local adult skaters increasing, this summers Rollerstrolls should be even better. Normally we will use pre-planned routes along parts of Montrose cyclepath but also some pavements and roads here and there. Rollerstrolls are suited to those who can already skate and stop in control. Bring water if you’ll want it. Anyone/everyone is welcome on the strolls – just turn up with your kit on ready to roll!!

If you’re uncertain whether your skating ability is suitable for a Rollerstroll, contact Pete at to discuss it or to organize a lesson or two first. For those who are a bit rusty or who would like some tips and coaching before the stroll, contact Pete at to arrange to attend an ‘Introduction to Streetskating’ session for 60 minutes before the stroll starts.
